Space Disco to the max...
Despite the hyped-up Carl Craig remix being the best thing here (and possibly one of the best dance tunes in 10 years) the rest of the EP (which it is depsite clocking in at almost 40 minutes) is much better than I expected. The DFA remix isn't their best, but the alternate version is excellent and the Baby Ford remix is a welcome change into clicks and glitch.
Dirty dirty machine funk joy
Old school electronica (in a Manuel Gottsching style) gets reworked into dirty electronic funk. The DFA mix makes friends easily, and the Baby Ford remix will appeal to fans of Radio Slave and Rekids, but for me it's Carl Craig's remix that rocks the house. Best enjoyed loud (or through headphones), this is an excellent EP that will set you back around a tenner on vinyl but only £2.99 in 1s and 0s.
Carl Craig Remix is class
But not happy that I had to buy all the album.
