Superpitcher Mix by itself is worth the price of admission

If there's one tune that's really had an impact on me in the last few months it's the Superpitcher Mix of Along The Wire by Lawrence. An amazing, haunting track. Try listening to this with the lights out watching a horror movie or playing a scary video game...! (F.E.A.R. or Doom 3 might be good!) Not listened to the other tracks yet but I've liked the selections of John Digweed since buying the classic Renaissance Mix CD album in 1994. I'm sure there's more gems on this album I've yet to discover!

Digweed Magic

Wow, another glimpse of the Digweed magic! An amazing mix, effortlessly breezing through energetic electronic grooves, sweeping synths, crisp, no nonsense percussion, avoiding the obvious whey-hey, with stand out moments coming from Sasha, Joe Mull, Lawrence, REshuffle, John has the amazing nack of gently massaging the listener, before letting go with the best moments. Tough, yet intricate. Substance and Style, and the unique Digweed groove!

They've said it all..

The two previous reviewers have said it all. This is just proper house music mixed by one of the best DJ's in the world who's on top off his game. No whey heys just solid build ups and breakdowns......this is the classical music of the future.....

Soon a Renaissance CD compilation containing some of Sasha and John's best remixes was released. The album was a surprise huge seller, warranting a follow-up, Renaissance...
