Unique and original. A must-have...
First released on vinyl in the late 1980s, and finally available on iTunes, this album features the Laek sisters' powerful vocal harmonies and self-penned tales of their Leeds coming-of-age. Combined with the unique and original acoustic accompaniment these songs are a million miles from today's manufactured girl-bands. Full of spirit, sincerity and humour the sound is still fresh and contemporary. Truly a must-have album.
Paired down girly vocals with some northern sassiness
Oh my God, Was 16 when this albumn came out. Feeling quite nostalgic. The Harmonies are hilarious sometimes and the lyrics are just fab. Paired down and classy. they don't mak 'em like this anymore. love it, love it love it!!!!
American Boys
I bought this track on vinyl 7 inch when it came out and loved it. After it got lost in one of my countless University dig moves I couldnt find it any. It's a great track. Perfect late 80's, guitar, jangle pop. So chufted to have found it.
