Stunning, where's the rest of it
A beautifully emotive score from a great film, can't compare the Kamen prince of theives score to this they are such different movies. However its nice to see Mark Strong still gets another catchy jingle for his villanous character. A point of note, where the rest of it? Are we going to be treated to a more music from album like they did for Gladiator, I hope so it would be a shame not to have the townsfolk songs like Women of Ireland on a release. Cannot love this score enough and this puts Steitenfield up there with the Zimmers, Jablonskys, and Elfmans as far as catchy emotive scoring goes..

I knew this film was going to be epic as soon as i heard it was being made by Sir Ridley Scott, and when i heard the music was by Marc Streitenfeld i knew i was right to be looking forward to its release. Although the film and the music will be compared to Gladiator, neither should be as they are totally different. The only similarity is how brilliant they both are. The music from the film is so right, there is a mix of Action, Suspense, Romance and Victory. The best tracks are Siege, Destiny and Merry Men, although i can honestly say there is not 1 track i dislike. The only problem with the soundtrack is it's not long enough, i so hope they go down the route of doing a 'More Music' from Robin Hood CD. Heres hoping, but for the meantime, enjoy this music, play it loud, and look forward to the possiblilty of a sequel in the next few years.

An amazing soundtrack to an amazing movie. I knew I will buy it as soon as I watched the movie and that doesn´t happen often, usually I need to hear it few more times. I love the general theme throughout the music, the one from Destiny. But many others are really good - Charge, Merry Man, Planting the Fields. I wouldn´t go as far as comparing this score to Gladiator and Hans Zimmer, but I think it is very well done and very nice to listen to. Definitely would recommend.
