Not their best, but...
... I've been following the Pigeons for about a year now, and I've seen them grow from being a promising new act to becoming one of the hot tips for 2007. Now, their music is not particularly original, I don't think anyone's going to come to that conclusion. What they do do, however, is write damn catchy songs. Often combining irresistable choruses with huge singalong vocals, their singles rarely stray beyond the 3 minute mark. Romantic Type is another fine offering. With a frantic two chord verse riff building to yet another massive chorus, it's trademark Pigeons stuff. And while it's not quite up to the standard of the brilliant "I Found Out" or "You Know I Love You", it's still a great crumb from the Pigeons table. 2007 could well be their year.
Can't do much wrong
Romantic Type is another excellent addition to the Pigeon Detectives impressive locker. All the singles are catchy and punchy and this is no exception. The ep's are worth buying whole because they have some gems as b-sides and without an album to yet grace our ears, this a perfect way to revise for the upcoming tour. Roll on may the 8th! Ps, check out their label, Dance To The Radio. Its going to be powerful in '07

heard this on soccer am and had to buy THeeres a lot of great new indie bands at the mo so its hard to choose the best but these are up with the best!¬! if you like buy milburn and hot club de paris as well! classic
