Awesome track
Sad, beautiful and very evocative, this is a haunting number that suggests this is a major talent about to burst onto the music scene. I certainly hope so!
A brilliant new talent
Zola Jesus creates a beautiful dark landsape, rich in texture and a tad gothic in parts. Touring with Fever Ray this year, her up dated album will be a welcome relief from the over used sounds and looks of todays consumer rubbish. Love the song.

Zola Jesus is the project of Madison, Wisconsin’s Nika Roza Danilova, who crafts dark music dominated by her operatic vocals and keyboards. Danilova showed an interest in singing early on, buying voice lesson tapes and opera sheet music at age seven; soon after, she began working with a vocal coach for the next decade.
