My personal opinion of Wouter Hamels newest Album is nothing but praise and postitive appreciation, as a truly gifted and utterly natural musician, Hamel is relentless in providing ever interesting and catching music, blending some real unusual sounds to bring jazz to a pop/funk nature. The lyrics of the album are not to be overlooked by the tantalising musical arrangements, my favourite being "One more time on the merry-go-round", closely followed by the dark but honest "Inbetween" - the songs will have you buzzing all day! I strongly urge any and all jazz fans to take time to appreciate the mans sound - anyone looking for something different out of there comfort zone but still wanting some good beats or grooves...well look no further...here he is!
