Diagnosis: Hypnosis
The hypnotic effect of this song will have you latched on from the beginning to the culminating climax. It's a lot more distinguished than other indie songs, and it'll stay in your head for a long time after. It just has that effect, I guess.
Infectious pop
'Sewn' is a wonderful pop song, hooking you in as it gradually builds to a sing-a-long chorus. Dan Gillespie Sells sweetly delivers the bittersweet lyrics, with shades of Supertramp that really show themselves in 'Sun is Shining'. Can't get the song out of my head - roll on the album!
