What a fantastic cover, I love how they have turned a classic 90s song into a beautiful piece of classical music!
Amazing - because it shouldnt be
I heard this as probably many others did on the Lynx (Axe) advert and I had to have it, but my reasons are quite strange, huge fan of the original by AIR and this version seems to me to completely turn the song style on its head but it does so with great effect and its amazing. Everything in my head tells me I shouldnt like this... but I amazingly do!
Massive Air Fan... Great Reworking!!!
Like most people I was a massive fan of Air when 'Sexy Boy' was originally released back in the 90's.
I played 'Moon Safari' completely to death, buying it twice due to my original CD getting scratched beyond repair (yep I am officially old!). Since then I have rinsed every possible remix made and thought there was nothing left to discover from the album. So I was over the moon to hear this on an advert at the Cinema recently and even more happier when I found it on iTunes!
If your a fan of the original and all things Morricone et al... you'll absolutely love this!!
Would love to hear more by the Fallen Angels... any clues anyone???
