Laidback heaven!
Matthew Gair is one of my favourite artists right now - I wake up humming Halo, I sing Friday on my way to work, and Assisi speaks to me in so many ways. Number 37 is a song that takes me right back to my childhood home, lazing by the pool on a hot summer's day - its lilting tune echoes the sunshine and wind in the leaves of my garden.All Around The World takes a new direction, it's much more dancey and has a really catchy beat. Matthew has created the kind of CD every collection should have at least one of, for playing at those lazy Sunday afternoon barbecues, to dance to at a house party, to show your girlfriend how sensitive you are.... :D Go and buy it now!
Matthew the happy happy man
Matthews music is beautifully written and performed, think of an updated Simon and Garfunkel for catchiness and relaxation qualities, mixed in with some Arlo Guthrie for political catche, he should be a lot more famous than he is, buy his albums and spread the word, he deserves it.
