Badly Fed Lardy Boy.....
Probably the best thing to emerge from Manchester since Damon Gough and his crusty beanie. Liam Frost's sound could be roughly be shoehorned into the category of "Alt-Folk-Rock". This, however does not do things justice, and standout tracks such as "Try Try Try" and "She Painted Pictures" hint at a higher level yet to be achieved. An excellent debut well worth getting hold of and chilling out to.

Utterly wonderful songwriting. Affecting lyrics beautifully capturing a range of emotions. I cannot tire of listening to this.
Unsure - take the risk
I heard Try Try Try on Xfm and liked it. As I came to iTunes I pondered whether to buy the album or not as there were no reviews. I took the gamble and so should you. An excellent album from start to finish. The City Is At Standstill, Shall We Dance & She Painted Pictures are truly majestic numbers that deserve plenty of plaudits. If you like Matt Nathanson, Badly Drawn Boy, Shack, Pele et al you'll like this. Do yourself a favour and go and buy it.
