Incredible - full stop

I can't believe that I am the 1st person to review this album! Rather than doing a track by track review I'll just ask you to trust me - if you've stumbled upon this by accident, give the samples a listen. You'll be able to tell very quickly if its for you. Intelligent and clever Art Brut-esque lyrics mixed with fantastic riffs = in my opinion, one of the best albums of 2009 so far, and one of the finest debuts in a long time. Standout tracks are Talk to the Left, and Hopelessly Wasted

Hailing from Brighton, the high-energy indie rock band Shrag formed in 2004. Made up of Helen King (vocals, keyboards), Stephanie Goodman (vocals, keyboards), Leigh Anne Walter (vocals, drums), Bob Brown (vocals, guitar), and Russell Warrior (bass), the band began playing shows and soon caught the ear of indie label Where It's at Is Where You Are. They released their first single, "Talk to the Left"/"Hopelessly Wasted," for the label in 2006. Three more singles followed as the band continued to tour...
