Customer Reviews
Great soundtrack
What a great collection of music! When I saw the film I recognized some bits of music but I assumed that other parts were original score by a composer. When I saw the absence of a composer in the credits I was surprised at how well the music was supervised on the film - how well the music suited the cinematography! All Scorsese pictures have amazing soundtracks, but I think this one has to be one of the best films that uses existing classical music to uphold and enhance the atmosphere! Shame it's album only, but what an album to buy!
Stunning Soundtrack.
Probably the best soundtrack album in a very very long time, some very interesting music I was totally unaware of.
I have subsequely bought some Milton Feldman from listening to his music here.
It is refreshing to have the music from the film actually on the soundtrack for once, and the absense of endless incidental music is refreshing.
Great film, and a brilliantly chosen soundtrack.
Highly recommended.
Money grabbers
I only wanted one song and can only get it through this album... For £7.99 I'm not tight, but I don't want to pay that price for one song when the others really don't interest me. So I won't be downloading it. I hate being forced into buying things you don't want! If they were confident in they're music they wouldn't need to do this, people would buy it out of choice
