Magical, Haunting Musical Journey
The full weight of these songs will hit you after a few concentrated listens. The melodies are subtle and the lyrics reflect a world-weary yet hopeful view. Songs like "The Best That I Can", "Fell", "Does My Heart Only Lie" and "Lonely As Number One" have catchy melodies and hooks. Classic Rock and Alt Country fans will appreciate them. The songs "I Don't Know How" and "I'm Running Late" will haunt your head for hours. The ladies will love the singer's voice. It is so deep and rich. The musicianship is first rate! "Don't know what I'm after; I might be chasing disaster ...". This CD would benefit from 2 or 3 more songs. Brilliant effort!
