Customer Reviews

i'll be honest...

I went into this album half expecting yet another flavor of the moment band producing a so so album which hangs uncomfortably on the coat tails of another more successful band (cough cough blackout >lostprophets). However I was proved wrong! Bursting into life, 'Fisticuffs' absolutely sets the pace for what follows to be a crackin debut for the welsh lads. My personal rating individual track wise is as follows: 1. Fisticuffs 9/10 2. Easy Tiger 7/10 (bit to sweet for my liking hah :/) 3. Give me what i want 10/10 (crackin track, set to make them stars!) 4. Saturday 8/10 (smacks of early FOB and even simple plan, stunning vocals on this one) 5. Lovely Bones 6/10 6. Shameless 8/10 (starts off a bit killers but builds into a technically packed little gem! love this!) 7. Girls 5/10 (repetitive, gets annoying) 8. Good Boys Gone Rad 10/10 ( MY FAVE! properly pre black parade MCR, darker and better structured with a twist of indie dancebeat about it, really really love this!) 9. Dance All Night 7/10 (its alright, maybe Im not as fond of it as lives in the shadows of GBGB lol) 10. Pillow Talk 8/10 (doesn't deliver huge amounts at first but I'm thinking this is a grower.) 11. Raise Hell 10/10 (despite the title this track is just as sugary and energetic as the first part of the album, cracking track!) 12. Church Tongue 7/10 (nice little number, where they get their riff ideas from is beyond me, this albums crammed with insightful little hooks that really sets this band apart) Overall I give the album 9/10. A perfect start for this super promising young band which does nothing but inspire and entertain from the first play.

Give Me What I Want...This Album

Do Do Do Do Do Buy this album. The tracks Saturday Easy Tiger And Give Me What I want are brilliant and so are the other tracks. This is my favourite album of 2008 so far and I would definitley reccomend it. So if you want exiting toe tapping stuff this summer then you have found the right album.

Dance All Night to This!

This is a fantastic band! I know they are going to make it big this year! I hope they do! All of their songs are amazing especially Give Me What I Want, Easy Tiger and Saturday! Listen to this if you like bands like Fall Out Boy and Panic at the Disco, they are not exactly the same - they have their own unique edge which makes them unique and amazing!
