Songs for Elisabeth is a compilation of Seasick Steve's songs that creates a blues alternative to the standard Valentine's release. The tracks are brought together from the Californian's four studio albums, and include the previously unreleased "Ready for Love," which retains his warm blues sound alongside songs from his debut. excellent
having never really known much or been a big fan all the songs are good especially ready for love which has been on repeat
from what i heard on the radio the album is a collection of songs written about/dedicated to Steve's Mrs hence the title Songs for Elisabeth it just happend to get released at a good time for valentines day
