Simply reliable...
Perhaps not the most dynamic Simply Red album, but it has a lovely, relaxed summer feel to it - great for warm, spring days or playing in the car with the windows down. Just a slight criticism - a few more rockier tracks alongside the laid-back soul/jazz would have given the album a much more balanced mix. As it is, some of these tracks sadly sound a bit like album fillers - They Don't Know and The Death of the Cool are fairly forgettable. But having said that, it's still well worth buying. There are some real highlights - the single Oh! What a Girl! Good Times Have Done Me Wrong and The World and You Tonight are all strong. To conclude - Simply Red fans who enjoyed Home will love this - it's more of the same chilled sound, but those who prefer the band's livelier early days might be a bit disappointed.

The Best Simply Red Album for a long long time, It felt familiar like a great old friend come home. my favourite ipod album. Stay : I hope they do !

well whats there to say .. this is the right album at the right time .. spring is in the air and simply red is back .. with "stay" he released a classic sunny and sexy soul album that one would expect from simply red .. its definatly a top class album .. and a must have for the hot summer thats about to come ..
