Like a harpoon to No 1
Most talented songwriter in the UK today. No tricks up his sleeve. No cheap imitations. SURRENDER to the Harp!!
Really wanted to like this.
I really wanted to like Stealing Cars, and to be fair I do. However it does not stand out, there is nothing here that you will not find on a hundred albums. It's fine in the background, perfect to hum along too, but not strong enough to hold it's own. Actually Don't Cry On Me is a much better track which goes to show that when he wants to, Kid Harpoon can put it out there. I hope that the Stealing Cars will be the weak track on the forthcoming album so we can expect a respectable collection of songs.
