Mesmerising
Sarah Nixey's voice is exquisite and quintessentially English. When Black Box Recorder finished recording together, I thought that we had lost one of the finest voices in pop so imagine my delight when Sarah returned with 'The Collector' swiftly followed by 'Strangelove'. Now we have these remixes that provide a different take on her second single. Sarah's album will be released in February and again showcases her fragile and beautiful vocal range. Buy these mixes and look out for 'Sing, Memory' on iTunes in February.

Arch, elegant British pop singer and songwriter Sarah Nixey is best known as the icy-voiced chanteuse of Black Box Recorder, a trio whose combination of melodic sweetness, bleakly cynical social commentary, and electronic pop eclecticism brought them a cult audience and some amount of (British) chart success around the turn of the millennium.
