Buy This...

I was introduced to Volbeat back in 2006 by my brother-in-law who is Danish. I was blown away buy them. Imagine if Jonny Cash and Elvis were born later in time and grew up on a diet of rock and heavy metal, and thats were Volbeat are coming from.

I saw them support Metallica in Arhus a year later, and that confirmed to me that they are one of the most underated bands out ther at the moment. The band are fantastic live, and sound as good as they do on record. Although big in Europe, they've never quite hade the respect they deserve in the UK. The three studio albums that I have are fantastic, and with each one the band seem to grow stonger.

This is there first album and is a really good break-through album. If you like it, check out Rock the Rebel, there next album. There are several stand out tracks on that.

Buy the album, sit back and enjoy.

Great Stuff!

Really entertaining and quite different. Production's not great but the material is strong and pretty catchy. If you like this have a listen to Sybreed for a heavy/mellow mix.

awsome tunes

this is what would of happened if johnny cash had a distortion pedel! i first listened to volbeat in 2008 and have backed them ever since
and this album is a must have.

Poulsen felt it was time to start over, and his concept of giving straight-up heavy metal a more trad rock flourish (Poulsen was a...
