itunes serendipity
I love this album. I've never played the video game but listening to this makes me want to. I can't imagine a more zombietastic collection of tunes. I found it by chance while looking for the Everly Brothers' version of 'All I Have To Do Is Dream' for my daughter. The joy of lucky finds! B-)
Grab your leather jacket and comb, we're going back in time
It's really a shame that not many people will hear this album, because, minus several tracks, it is a fantastic selection of 50's covers by popular modern day bands. Overall production is great too, theres this dull shine that is present on most of the tracks, the kind you only hear on old records, that really adds to the experience. The songs themselves range from bouncy milkshake summer pop tunes to those old beach boys love songs, and mostly maintain all the dynamics from the sound of that fantastic era of music: muddy guitars, gentle snares, thick vocal harmonies and general ambience that insists most of these instruments were all recorded live together. A fantastic treat! Don't let the zombies scare you off...

we have played the game, loved the songs and to our joy have found the entire sound track and have downloaded it on a desert island wireless connection in the Maldives. Great! by Owen and Scott
