Sub Focus has truly wowed me.
     

Few drum and bass artists have come as far as Sub Focus and not been corrupted by the mainstream. Regardless of whether you like his music or not, you can listen to a track he dropped over a year ago and you'll realise that his quality hasn't dipped one bit and that no matter what direction he chooses to take a song in, be it dubstep, house or electro, he still has his own distinct sound.
For that he gains my respect. As for the album?
It's amazing.

Could This Be Real?
     

This is mainly Sub Focus's trademark cleanly produced jump up DnB, e.g. Triple X, Rock It, Timewarp and Let The Story Begin.
But he's also diversified, which sounds great too. Who'd have thought we'd hear a house beat with a wobble bassline (Could This Be Real) and a dubstep influenced Fake Blood style modern rave tune (Move Higher).
The vocal edit of Follow The Light is a nice version too.
Basically, this is going to be the biggest DnB album of the year - HUGE tunes, amazing production, and bags of talent.

A landmark in music
     

I have always wondered when the day will come where I will get that one album, that one piece of music where I never skip a track, where I cherish every song and the one that will sends me to places I never thought music could. I have came close with other bands, but never have a I actually got there. Well, this day has happened. Sub Focus has done it, with this very CD. I now have my quintessential life soundtrack. So with that, thankyou N. Douwma, aka Sub Focus.
