iTunes Review

Kelis's "Milkshake" made a huge impact even by the standards of the production titan Neptunes. The saucy concoction proved its own point about the singer's attention-grabbing qualities. But the album that this song is on, Tasty hardly begins or ends there. An all-star crew of producers and guests the list includes Andre 3000, Nas, Raphael Saadiq, and Dallas Austin - work with her in melding an up-to-date, soulful album that stands with the best of Janet Jackson and Mary J. Blige. Kelis' outsized personality is served by tracks like the joyously sexual "In Public" and "Keep It Down," while another side of her talent is showcased on more laidback moments like "Rolling Through the Hood" and "Attention." It's fitting that Tasty her real breakthrough commercially; the music makes a convincing case for her as a major talent.

What a hot album - Definitly her best yet. Mikshake is fabtastic and the other singles were huge hits too. Great beats and vocals on all songs. Great combo with the Neptunes again but with many others too.
