My album of the year.
To be honest, this is pure fanboy love, but jesus christ this album is phenomenal.
This album is more Bloc Party-esque than Intimacy was..
Really solid debut album. Surprised to see the lack of electronic influence in the record, but it works well.
Everything you Wanted and Unholy Thoughts really wouldn't look out of place on Silent Alarm, and it's nice to see Kele making music like this again.
On the Lam is another great track, but more in the style of how Bloc Party were headed for post-Intimacy.
Overall, an entertaining album, with most of the best aspects from BP's music from Silent Alarm through to Intimacy. Worth a bash for any BP fan.
Present minded
This was a surprise to me. I was a big fan of silent alarm and still listen to it. However wasn't bothered by bp's later releases.
I stumbled across tenderoni just last week and been looking forward to this release. After the first listen I can safely say that it's well judged, melodic, interesting, and revels in a bjork- like unrestrained wonder . My follow up to silent alarm. Congratulation kele! P.s liking the new image!
