God..ess of Small Things
After adoring Nerina's previous albums for a few years now, I was so excited when I saw she was finally releasing another album and it really is impressive.
While maintaining some of the sounds of her previous work she also takes on fresh approaches that suit her stunning voice so much.
A brilliant follow up and definitely recommended! A+

It's finally here, we've waited three years for it but its here. In this third album Nerina has combined various elements from Dear Frustrated Superstar and Fires to create something truly unique. DFS was zany and well written but seemed to lack structure. Fires was musically a much better album but had lost some of the zanyness that fans had loved from Nerina. In The Graduate both of these have been combined to create an album that feels more like something written by a friend than just a performing artist. In short there are three reasons why you should buy this album - its only seven quid - its got songs exclusive to this itunes version - and most importantly of all - its Nerina Pallot
A disappointment.
4 years after ‘Fires’, an album that hinted at greatness, Nerina Pallot’s latest offering is a real disappointment. If you like quirky and undeniably clever pop, Real Late Starter, Everything’s Illuminated and the like may just do it for you, but there really isn’t a track here that stands comparison with Mr King or Geek Love, let alone Sophia, Damascus, or the incomparable Idaho from Fires. If you don’t own a Nerina Pallot album, buy Fires - preferably the original 2005 release. It’s still her best, by a distance.
