The Lucky Face
Tim Mullineaux has a knack for writing songs that have incredibly catchy tunes with observational and funny lyrics, in a fantastic off-the-wall manner. He also has a knack of performing them brilliantly and shows his multi-faceted musical talents by playing all the instruments himself, each to a high standard! He's quite the one-man-band! This has been perfectly displayed in his previous singles (Underneath the City Lights, Leech, Sunk Soul Song) and EP (Lounge) and is so once again in this debut album. I've been addicted to this album since I downloaded it on release and have raised eyebrows at home by bursting into song, singing my personal favourites from the album (John, You Always Get the Fit One, Calamity, Underneath the City Lights and Fifteen Minutes). This album is simply great fun to listen to and I can't recommend it enough.
