Brilliant!

Well for me this is one of the contenders for album of the year. A great piece of work from Down to the Bone. Excellent from start to finish. I just hope it receives the recognition it deserves.

Possibly the album of the year

Down to the Bone do it again, a top notch jazz funky album. How can one man, Stuart Wade, come up time after time with such funky tunes. After listening all the way thru a couple of times I felt my head was ready to drop off. Terrific stuff. Personal favourites, Second Nature,South Side Over Drive and Music Is the Key, but most stunning of all is Together We Stand, six minutes of sheer pleasure. How this lot keep getting ignored in the country God only knows. Wouldn't it be great if having collaborated with Roy Ayres on the previous two cd's, DTTB got in the studio with say Lonnie Liston Smith or Ronnie Laws for example on the next cd, mixing the old with new. I thought Euge Grooves S7ven Large was going to be hard to beat this year, but this will run it close.
Treat yourself and buy this cd without hesitation.

Their second album, The Urban Grooves, featured a track recorded with one of Wade and Morgans' original inspirations, organist...
