An unbelievably good album

On Frightened Rabbit's second album, their trademark sound truly comes to life. Shrugging off a little of the raw, lo-fi sound of their debut but still retaining all of their character and charm, Frightened Rabbit craft brutally honest, enthralling, exciting and heartbreaking music. Raw emotion is tamed and shaped into perfect pop songs, which in turn seamlessly combine to create a near-perfect album. Musically and lyrically, this is arguably the greatest record to come out of Scotland in recent years. To listen to it is to fall in love with it. For Frightened Rabbit, great things await.

A gem of an album

I stumbled across this band by chance and soooo glad i did. This band are a breath of fresh air in a world full of sugar coated predictable pop rubbish. Honest, and at times brutal and heartbreaking lyrics set this band well ahead of the pack. Songs such as "The Modern Leper" and "Head Rolls Off" show how intelligent and diverse these guy's really are. They craft humour, death, honesty, love, anger and anything else they can into a great record. Highly recommended for those who enjoy good music.

An Awesome find from my hometown!

This band is the answer to Death cab for cutie here in the UK! without letting bias cloud my opinion they are amazing. An excellent laid back easy to listen to album! Good luck guys its no surprise you are supporting death cab on tour!

Frightened Rabbit was founded in Glasgow, Scotland, in 2004, when guitarist Scott Hutchison and his brother Grant, a percussionist who — like his sibling — prefers to keep his last name a secret, began recording demos of songs they had written....
