Huge sound from amazing band!

If there’s a metal album worth purchasing this year it has to be this one. The epic thunderous opening track Cry of our Nation, the huge chorused single Betray my heart, and the one that will stick in your head Kissing the Knife. And the finest track for me – Long Live the King – kicking in with a thrash style riff before moving onto more complex symphonic and power metal styles. Pythia are unique, the sound is huge, a mix of styles with elements of symphonic, thrash and power metal to moments of soundscapes with the amazing vocals of Emily Alice Ovenden. Sits nicely on the ipod alongside the likes of Maiden, Anthrax & Warlock.

Great follow up

Same style as their debut, fantastic energy and Emily's great voice. If you like Nightwish etc this is definately worth checking out.

Symphonic Power Metal at its best.

Great album for fans of Power Metal or Symphonic Metal. Emily's fantastic soaring vocals, the fantastic Marc Dyos on drums, Ross White and Tim Neale's double guitar attack, Mark Harrington on bass and classically trained Richard Holland on keys.

Buy it now, you won't regret it.

PS They are amazing live too, check them out if you get the chance.
