Speechless!!
Being the proud owner of a full set of It Bites 12" singles from the 80's, and counting classic tracks such as 'Midnight and 'Whole New World' as treasured memories from a great decade, my excitement of seeing a new album was slightly tempered by the concern that a new lead singer/guitarist might spoil some treasured memories... how wrong could I have been ?! This album could not have been a more perfect return to thw world of prog rock. The heritage is unmistakeable, however the quality of the lyrics and musical direction bring this bang up to date. Even on the first listen this album hits home, but equally the more you listen to it, the better it gets. If I was to list the best tracks, it would be the whole index. There is not a weak track among them! If you weren't an It Bites fan before, then consider the heady days of Genesis under Peter Gabriel. I urge you to give it a try. I know for a fact that it will provide me joy and happiness for a long while to come, and the more people that can join me in that experience the better... roll on the next UK tour!! :)
In my top 10 albums of all time!
One word - CLASSIC.
A must have album for anyone who isn't a drone to the charts & actually loves really good quality music.
