Spock

Having been a Spock's Beard fan for a long, long time, this has to be the most disappointing load of self indulgent twadlle they have ever produced. Musically, it is amateur and of bedroom player quality. The lyrics are ridiculous and I can only imagine are a name check of those people foolish enough to part with their money up front to fund the recording of the new album. At least I have only wasted 79p on this, I would have been gutted if I had bought the album. Once I've finished writing this, the track will be deleted from my iPod, one listen is far too mucg! Spock's should have called it a day long ago, go back to the day jobs guys, it's not working.

spocks beard x

i wrote this after seeing an unbelievable negative review on this site about this album. i too, have been a fan of spocks beard, and this album has not been off my i-pod, i love it! . the expertice that has gone into the making of this album is mind blowing. dont think there is a weak passsage of music, let alone a weak track. would suggest the critics are those who still think they can,t survive without neal morse, WELL THEY CAN!, and this album proves it

Brilliant.

Negative review? I find it hard to understand. Melodically this is a beautiful song and it sounds great. Yes the latter part of the song is a list of names but is that not the point of the song? They ask him for the names of the rebels but he can't tell them as "Their Names Escape Me" and then he pays tribute to the rebels. I love this song so much. Well done.
