Caught my attention.
I was walking through the streets of Bristol a week ish ago with some work mates as we were there for the week with work and went out for a beer in the evening. We heard the warm up band the sweet easy peelers or something, from the street they sounded very good, went in for some more and was shocked it was free entrance for that standard of music, then the ABC club came on while i was at the bar and they definitely caught our attention, i think they are destined for greater things by their sound, not sure about the guitarist wearing wellington boots on stage though?! When i saw them packing up i got the feeling they might have just undersold themselves, but i guess thats how emerging bands get noticed and do things now. I've bought the tracks, well worth ago, release more!
fantastic debut
this is a brilliant first single from Leeds based quintet - loving the rourke-esque bass and the fantastic drumming on the lead track. guitars and vocals work nicely with each other.. more of this please :)
