Excellent!
After a bit of a letdown in Gates of Gnomeria, Mckee simply shines in this album. His reworked pieces are great, especially the more contemplative second Rylynn. Ross's funk is a joy as always.
Andy Mckee and Don Ross: The Thing That Came from Somewhere
As with all of Andy Mckee's music the songs are melodically strong and contrasting. Some of the tracks are also present in his other albums but it is still a worth while expense to hear the new ones. This is a must have for either an addition to the Andy Mckee collection or to get a taste of his amazing capabilities as a musician.

Andy McKee plays the strings like an angel. Seriously talented fingers take you somewhere that the world passes you by. Superb!
