Album Review

Two years in the making, This Is Happening is LCD Soundsystem’s third — and rumored to be final — proper studio album. Although it is led by the rowdy rave-up rocker “Drunk Girls,” electronics dominate the set, as heard in the chaotic “One Touch,” the left-field synth pop of “I Can Change,” and the placid “Somebody’s Calling Me.”

that's a relief

Hearing my favorite band again can only be described as soothing. The second track is better than the actual single, which is something I'd expect from an act with such strong albums. This fuels my appetite even more for what's likely to be the last LCD album.

Incredible!

The full album's release in May has been well worth the wait. I've listened to the tracks on the LCD Soundsystem website and I am geniunely excited for its release. It seems sort of silly for the band to quit here, when they are obviously improving upon every album they make.
