I agree this album is a really happy album perfect for Summer :):)
"i think i found something amazing"
i'm bad at trying out new bands and stuff. like really bad. however, iTunes Genius, surprisingly, is the greatness that brought me to find this little gem of an album.
i'm quite good at impulse buying songs, especially if they are chart songs, and despite this being a not (to my knowledge at least) a very well known band, i find this amazing. simply said really.
i bought the whole album (i mean, come on - £3.95) and after a first few listens i thought it not bad, but not mind-blowing stuff. i liked "Crimson Red" immeadiately and "My Philosophy" was quite catchy.
The others, i deemed, would be growers. and boy, did they grow on me. now, i absolutely LOVE the whole EP. "Crimson Red" is still, in my mind, a piece of lyrical genius, and quite sweet once properly listened to. "My Philosophy" still has that edgy, fun 'i-don't-care-i'm-just-gonna-live' thing going on. "Walking By" is the slowest of all the songs but is actually just as sweet as "Crimson Red" lyrically wise. "Driving By" is one of those songs where you can envision driving off into the sunset, listening to it - it's that good - and "Never Enough", with the opening lines 'i don't look back as i'm a forward thinker, don't think i'm a wreck though you beg to differ' have certainly had me hooked.
all in all, i'm so glad that for once iTunes Genius, really was, genius and I so hope that Holiday Parade will get the credit they deserve for this EP!

I really like this album im not usually into this kinda stuff but this album is the best i've heard all year Holiday parade have done a gr8 job could have dun with a few more songs though
