Pop-Tastic

If you want a collection of 40 finely crafted pop songs, many of which significantly damaged the charts!!,then look no further. Here we have 40 top singles from Erasure the masters of catchy synth-pop feelgood music, but not only that you laso get 3 bonus tracks not available on the CD release and 15 live versions of some of their other songs seagued together in one long live mix, that brings together tracks from most of the successful live tours. All tracks are remastered for your listening pleasure, which makes even the best synthpop songs sound even better theres no-one to match the quality somg writing skills of Vince Clarke & Andy Bell.....if you buy one compilation this year let it be this, you'll be humming them all day whilst skipping to work!!,synth-rock-on.

Total Pop = Total Erasure

Following on from Pop - the first 20 hits and Hits the Very best of Erasure (which for me missed too many tracks out) this is Total pop all of erasure's hits. This is a must have for anyone a fan of erasure and a fan of pop. The 80s hits will always be rembered but erasure reached phenomenal levels of fame in the mid 90s with hits such as Chorus and Love to Hate You and of course the Abba EP. Following on from that is the amazing always, and although some of the newer tracks maybe unknown to non erasure fans for me this is the definitve collection and a must have the live cd is a bonus also for the die hard erasure fans.Amazing.Totally biased - Total POP

You Cant Erase Erasure....

Well what can i say, i have all these tracks & i must say that Itunes have done a superb remaster job, they sound a lot better & clearer & to put a cherry on top you get 15 live tracks thrown in, a great bargain all for just shy of a tenner, good work itunes keep it up....

Years Active: '80s, '90s, '00s, '10s

Following the disbandment of the short-lived synth pop group Yazoo, former Depeche Mode member Vince Clarke formed Erasure in 1985 with singer Andy Bell. Like Yaz and Depeche Mode, Erasure were a synth-based group, but they had stronger dance inclinations, as well as a sharper, more accessible sense of pop songcraft, than either of Clarke's previous bands. Furthermore, Erasure had the flamboyantly eccentric Andy Bell — one of the first openly gay performers in pop music — as their focal...
