Customer Reviews

My album of the year so far.

This is a hugely appealing and very uplifting album that should please most fans of the alternative/indie genre. When they sound like The Flaming Lips, it's TFL at their best. When they sound like the Pixies it's the latter half of Bossanova, with deep trudging bass lines, screaming guitars and hypnotic vocals. Other times, when they depart slightly from the indie sound they offer some meaty guitar riffs that should appeal to fans of the more traditional rock energy. The album lets you down gently with a couple of mellow, folky rock numbers at the end. I predict a Mercury Music Prize shortlisting for this album.

Touchdown will touch you

This is a nice album packed with catchy tunes. It's indie sounding but in a cool way. The sound/feel of 'Touchdwon' is chilled yet rocky - which is unusual. Great songs for this summer's bbq's, while you sit back enjoying a glass of lager/white wine.

INTERESTIng!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

i have not bought, heard or even heard of this album but it had no reviews and i felt sorry for it. i hope this comment was useful.
