They Rocked My House

I'm the Theatre Manager at The Palladium and as a fan I was thrilled to get them booked at the venue. I'd seen them live before but - my god! - this was some gig...and on my turf! The whole audience were up for it and the atmosphere was celebratory from start to finish. The album's a brilliant representation of a great concert from an excellent band.

Turin Brakes Back to Form

A great live album from an excellent gig. Turin Brakes seem to have decided to stop trying to become a rock and roll band and stick to what they are good at - great harmonies, great acoustic guitar and some beautiful tunes. Underdog, Stone Thrown and The Optimist are highlights

Live and kicking

I was at this concert, and have been eagerly waiting for its release in a Mac friendly format. The concert was brilliant. They really added to the songs, giving them renewed vibrancy and vigour; true both of the older material and the songs from the new album. They also presented the show with humour and sparkle, forging a real connection with the audience. This is not like some live albums, a lame rehash of studio songs with worse acoustics, it is a reworking of the material that really adds. Download it and enjoy.
