Perfection ?

Possibly the best compilation of Genesis Hits to date (Apologies to those who have the archives!!!) My only quibble - why wasn't Illegal Alien on this one???

They've Popped It

I've always believed Genesis to be a profound band of a main-stream prog-rock genre. To listen to this more modern album, it has become all too apparent of the dying culture the band left behind in a preference of a more pop-based style. If you enjoy the blissful ambiguity of the prog-genre and you are familiar with this bands other releases, such as "Selling England By the Pound" and "Trespass" then you'd ought to stick with it. So many great songs!

Incredibly catchy songs with meaningful lyrics. It's so hard to choose a personal favorite, but some songs suit certain moods (e.g. Jesus He Knows Me and Invisible Touch are very upbeat lively songs, whereas Mama and No Son Of Mine are more slow and thoughtful).
