Buy it now, you fool!
Teamed up with folk royalty (every other review for the album seemed to start with that so why buck the trend?!) Kathryn's 7th (count em!) album is a wonderful blend of talent. Kathryn's bewitching vocals, Neill's harmonies and top arangements make this a winter warmer and a half. Standout tracks include the sexually longing 'Come With Me' , the dirty and sweet 'Armchair' and a bloomin marvellous version of Wait's 'Innocent When You Dream'. This'll grab you and you'll still be listening again and again in the hazy lazy days of summer.
Quite simply, Brilliant
And believe me I'm not using 'Brilliant' as a lame colloquialism. It is brilliance in production values, music, lyrics and it out shines any manufactured rubbish churned out in the so called 'music industry'. Typically Kathryn Williams has not let us down with her latest album and the partnership with Neill MacColl is sheer excellence and he truly compliments Kathryns music stylings. I insist anyone that appreciates music must downlaod this album along with Kathryns' back catalogue. True music fans will not be disappointed. Britney Spears fans will be. But do I care? What do you think?
