Customer Reviews
Not as good as I was expecting, but OK
Don't get me wrong, the sort of stuff Sean Tyas plays is right up my street and the mixing is always faultless. I subscribe to the Tytanium Sessions Podcasts and it's brilliant. So I bought this based on the strength of the Podcast, without listening to any of the tracks first - It's Sean Tyas! - It's gonna be great, I thought?
My opinion is that it's just 'OK' but I can't see me listening to it continuously. I think the problem is that I like the 140bpm trance that gets played in the latter of the podcast - and this album just doesn't seem to have that. None of the tracks stand out as such, it's just nothing different. It doesn't give me that feeling of 'Wow' like I would get when hearing a great track on the Podcast.
That's not to say I won't buy the next one I'll just listen to the tracks first.
