Like a Mixture between La Roux and Yeah Yeah Yeahs...This album should NOT go unnoticed.
Woah!!
Never heard of them, saw the album on itunes new releases, had a listen, bought it, BLOWN AWAY!!! I love La Roux but this lot wee all over her!!!! Watch this space, i predict big things!!
Loving Chew Lips
Its January i haven't been paid yet but i had to get this. Could be the best £5.99 of the year. Hope to catch them live sometime. The Yeah yeah yehs may have to come out of my car for this album, cracking guys thanks.

Named after a character in the Brendan Behan book Borstal Boy, the South London-based electro-pop trio Chew Lips features singer Tigs, whose voice has been compared to Beth Ditto, Karen O, and even Liza Minnelli, and multi-instrumentalists Will Sanderson and James Watkins. The group formed in early 2008 and wrote ten songs at their first rehearsal, and played their first show that spring at a friend’s house (Tigs ended up singing on top of the washing machine).
