Check out their Early 70's Stuff

To the previous reviewer they did disco, they did ballards but the best they ever did was early in their career, and about 1970/71 and two standout tracks are included on this compilation the brilliant Brother Louie and Emma. Brother Louiereally fitted with the era, for example we had Young Gifted and Black, the excellent Theme from Shaft and the Motown social commentary explosion, think Cloud Nine, Psychedelic Shack by the Tempts, Take a Look Around The Four Tops and of course Marvin's What's Going On. If you don't already know Hot Chocolate's early stuff then check it out.

The most underated band of the last century...

Its amazing how many of their songs were hits yet if you ask people who sung them, they wouldn't be able to tell you. Their songs hit many emoitions and situations - love, death, jealousy, fear, faith... To this 24 year old, they are the greatest band ever!
