WOW !!
What a return to form - shades of the Verve and Cocteau Twins on this album. Loving the songwriting craftsmanship on this one. This group are going to be huge if they keep writing genius songs like these. Ethereal, melodic and powerful. Oh and Fyfe has the most emotive amazing voice ever. Absolutely buy this if you value intelligent and passionate music. 10/10 hands down - no question.
Very very good
Simply put, a brilliant album. Loses the rock edge that was present in Red, and goes back to the more acoustic-y songs of Through the Windowpane. Saying that, The Basket is a rocky track that is simply brilliant with such energy. Well worth a buy.

I like this album! I first heard the basket on the radio and really liked it so I looked up the album, and I'm impressed! I'd never heard of guillemots before this but I really like them now :)
