Customer Reviews
Great album, great cause
Haven't reviewed in a while on here but not quite sure what the other reviewer is on about...just listen to Duffy's 'Live and let live' and you'll be hooked. I've listened twice since this morning and there's enough variety to keep anyone interested. My personal highlights are Beck doing Dylan, Franz Ferdinand's "Call Me" and the "Yeah Yeah Yeah's" doing "The Ramones' Sheena is a punk rocker" but then you'll have your favourites (it's kinda like the Heroes box of Chocolates - they're all yummy but we all have our preference!)
Heroic Efforts
This album is legend. Gawd knows what TV On The Radio or Hot Chip must have felt when they were asked by Bowie and Joy Division to reinvent Heroes or Transmission: an impossible task. But they pull it off. Brave and brilliant both. Love Rufus' glam take on Brian Wilson and Scissors' even glammer take on Bryan Ferry. Great idea. Great cause. Heroic stuff. Buy it.
Live Lounge 3
This album is really ok. It has some very good covers and classics. I must say that Live Lounge 3 is better. It has 40 tracks, more artists and better covers.
