This is a great anthem for a worthy cause. And Alicia Keys is great in it. Luckily Richard Branson doesn't sing in the video. In a few days a new country could be created in Africa. If there is a peaceful vote in the referendum in Sudan then much will be gained. If there is not then as Emmanuel Jal warns there could be genocide. Buy the song and pass the message on - We want peace

I absolutely love Emmanuel. And just recently have finally seen him live.
His love for Sudan and determination to see peace restored is so moving!
I wish everyone would get to know his story and Sudan's.

Genre-straddling African Christian gospel rapper Emmanuel Jal was born in the village of Tong (sometimes spelled Tony) in southern Sudan around 1980. His mother died when he was still a young child of seven or so, and Jal was forced into a Sudan People's Liberation Army (SPLA) military training camp in Ethiopia, where he was trained to be a soldier, participating in military battles before he was even a teenager.
