Vader - Welcome To The Morbid Reich
I was a little unsure as to buy this album or not as I'm not a big listener of Death Metal - I know a few bands but I wouldn't call myself an 'expert'. I bought this album on the day or release or thereabouts and it is honestly a great album, one that will not disapppoint. Vocals, guitar and bass are awesome here, and the drumming is exceptional - moments where my mouth hung open thinking "how did he do that??"

Vader formed in 1986, toiling around the European death and thrash circuit while releasing demos into the metal tape-trading circuit. Their 1990 demo Morbid Reich became a huge hit in the underground, leading to a record deal with Earache in 1992. This made them the first death metal band from behind the Iron Curtain to sign a record deal outside of their native Poland.
