Hypnotic. Absolute gem.

     

Soft, mellifluous male voice flows into your ear, in sublime harmony with unworldly, angelic female vocals which float above like a mist.
Crisp, crystalline soundscape embraces you where cello flows, cajon soothes and acoustic guitar fingerpicks and plucks.
Melody develops gently, as if tracing rolling hills up and down, over and again like unfolding plaits, to a hypnotic crescendo.
Lyrics paint little tableaux in water colours with adage-like brushstrokes:
"All the people dance together / Hand in hand they hold each other / No one asks much of the other / Know that nothing lasts forever"
"We go by every day / without a word to say / to the passers-by / who make up our lives" (from their website)
Songs are short, but as soon as they begin they conjure up a space of their own, filled with warmth and comfort, where you'd feel no hurry to leave.
