A music lovers album and deserves every success for his commitment to fine music.

Sheer Excellence
Having pre-ordered this album in December 2009 I couldn't wait for it to arrive. When it arrived and I had my first listen to the whole album it left me exhilarated. This is a beautiful collection of songs sang with great passion by a man with an astonishing voice. Just when you think he can't surprise you any more Daniel hits you with another fantastic performance. Daniel has a masterful ability to punch home the big powerful notes that make you gasp and then turn things around and make you all mellow and content with the gentle mellifluous tone in his voice that warms you to your heart.
I followed the long hard road of this album's creation and loved hearing the demos of the songs being recorded for it. Every track has a profound effect on me. Some songs make me smile like crazy because the vocal performance is so damn good and others make me emotional because they're so wonderfully interpreted and beautifully sung. I get goosebumps everytime with Open Arms it's the best version of this song by a country mile. Daniel is an amazing talent and has such great feel for a song and the music behind it. You do feel excited that this independent artist is so capable of moving you with music. Go to his website and check out his newer demos of other songs they are further proof of how good Daniel is! I whole-heartedly recommend this album and anything Daniel produces and he totally deserves to succeed massively with music. All I can add to this is "Thank you Daniel Evans for giving me REAL music".
Again, surprised...where did this come from?
Well, i thought Open Arms was a surprise for me, i reviewed that and didn't want to like it but you cant help but feel it, and I was not a fan as such, but the album just takes it to a whole new level, passion, power with subtle tones and heartbreaking emotion, different genres, different feels, it like 3 artists in 1! (loving the soul in No Easy Way!) All all done with real quality production (despite a tiny glitch on one acoustic track??). His web site says made on a tight budget but you would never guess with this sound. Every word you can hear clearly and some of his arrangements, which he has made himself apparently, are breathtaking. My only concern is the genres, yes, he's like 3 artists for the price of 1 but i think he needs to choose one and stick to it or risk losing his identity, but hats off to you Daniel, you did good and as an independent artist doing it all yourself too, thats even more impressive, well done!
