The 2nd album from the Danish Blonde Bombshell..

After the success of Whigfields debut single: Saturday night, the much awaited 2nd album was released in 1997. The aptly named Whigfield 2 album saw Ms. Carlson experimenting with different genres of music from the typical Whigfield pop sound to latin grooves, rnb tracks, garage and house as well as a ballad. The lead single from this album was the infectious "Gimme Gimme" which was a hit all over Europe -sadly never released in the UK. The album also included the singles "Givin all my love", "No tears to cry" & "Baby Boy". One of Whigfields best albums to date.

Great 2nd album from the Queen of Europop

The second album, basically continues the same formula from the first album. A mixture of Europop tracks, with a few ballads thrown in. This album has a more mature sound than the previous one and the album doesn't feel rushed. The tracks that stand out from the rest are No Tears To Cry, Lover and Forever On My Mind. A great party album for the girls.

The best album from Sannie Carlson!!!

Out of the four albums Whiggy has released, i would say that this is the best overall. There are loads of stand out tracks which still scream to be released. If someone like Rachel Stevens released songs like 'Gimme Gimme' and 'Lover', she would still have a career!!!

Seeking more opportunities, she left Denmark and met Spagna producer Larry Pignagnoli, with whom she began recording under the name Whigfield (a tribute to her piano teacher of the same name). Her debut single, "Saturday Night," hit number...
